Londonderry has made national news, and not in a good way. At the forefront of the news has been our state representative's hateful speech regarding this issue (see below). For more media links, please visit General Articles or Local Articles.

Excerpts:
I disagree. It's not normal. I disagree. So because I disagree on something that was pushed down my throat I'm supposed to roll over and [sic] because, representative, you think it's normal? I'm sorry, you got [sic] the wrong person. No disrespect.

What about what's being disrespectful to sister-sister to love each other. Sister-brother. Sister-mom. Incest. That's in there. They--aren't we discriminigating [sic] all the--against all them?

What about the Muslims now? Everyone's praising the Muslim [sic]--that are killin' us. What about them? They want three, four wives. We discriminated against them. This house did that for a small minority.

I wanted to make sure everyone understood here that this legislature sold the rights of ten thousand dollars per kid under Title IV E when they said that uh homosexuality [sic] couples--not married--can adopt. I wanted to make sure that--he's not here to understand that. So we sold each kid to a homosexual couple that's not married for ten thousand dollars.
